Bidet Toilet, Bidet Seat or Smart Toilet: Which One Should You Get?
A bidet toilet washes you with warm water instead of paper. You can get that wash three ways: a bidet seat added to the toilet you have, a toilet with the bidet built in, or a smart toilet that adds an automatic flush and more. Here is how they compare.

Bidet seat: the cheapest way in
A bidet seat replaces the seat on your current toilet. It is the lowest price, but your old toilet stays: same bowl, same tank, same flush. Electric bidet seats with warm water still need an outlet next to the toilet.
Bidet toilet: the wash built in
A bidet toilet is one piece, with the wash, the seat and the bowl designed together. There are no hoses or add-ons showing, and the shape is easier to clean.
Smart toilet: a bidet toilet that does more
A smart toilet is a bidet toilet with extras: automatic flush, a heated seat, a warm-air dryer, a night light and, on some models, a lid that opens and closes by itself. Every smart toilet we install is a one-piece toilet with the bidet built in, except the Standard levels, which skip the wash.
Which of our levels have the bidet wash?
- Standard: heated seat, automatic flush and night light, but no warm-water wash.
- Advanced: adds the warm-water wash, front and rear, the warm-air dryer and a self-cleaning nozzle.
- Premium: everything in Advanced plus the lid that opens and closes by itself; most Premium models also add a UV light that cleans the nozzle.
